Can First-Time LTA Opt-Ins Claim Within the Same Year? Seeking Advice on Timing

If any employee opted for LTA for the first time, can he take the claim in the first year? For example, if he opts for LTA from Apr '18 and wants to claim in Nov '18, or should the first claim be after Mar '19? Please advise. Can he submit the claim bill of Nov '18 in his claim?

LTA Can be claimed more than 01 time a financial year but it will be Taxable Amount as per IT Act.
