My Experience with BPO Companies
Thirteen years ago, I was hired by a BPO company. I was terminated during the training period due to a BGV failure. I accepted my mistake of faking an experience letter. I was afraid and completely broken and did not apply for any other job for the next two years.
After two years of this incident, I applied for a job in another BPO company. Leaving the past behind and learning from my mistake, I worked hard for this company. Now, it has been 10 years working with this company, and I have received multiple promotions. I am currently working in a senior position and have worked with utmost honesty.
Concerns About Company Acquisition
However, my old company is now acquiring my present company. According to the official announcement, it will take another 5 or 6 months for the takeover to complete. Will I be terminated again based on the mistake I made 13 years ago? My life will be ruined if that happens, and I will think of ending my life. Can I switch to another company even before the takeover takes place?
