Hi, I started my career in 2007, 2015 (Job change), 2016 (Job change and continuing). I transferred my previous two company PF amounts to the current company PF account since my current employer opened a new UAN number (Previous two company PF accounts were in different UAN numbers). My PF amount (Employer share and Employee share) transferred to the current account, but the EPS amount is showing as "0". My total service is above 10 years. Can anyone please advise if my previous service details and EPS amount will automatically be added to the new account, or if I need to fill out any forms to transfer the EPS to the new account? Thanks

Hi,

Your question is as follows:

Service period and pension status

1) Your service period from 2007 to 2017, i.e., 10 years, means you have entered into pension.

Duplicate UAN issue

2) You have a duplicate UAN. Now, you have one UAN, i.e., the UAN of your present company.

EPS transfer clarification

3) Your transfer has been processed, but the amount of EPS is nil. In this regard, I advise you that as per EPFO rules, the pension amount is not transferred from one account to another.

Requesting Annexure "K"

4) You can request Annexure "K" from EPFO for details of your previous service.

Therefore, you do not need to take any initiative on your end.

Thanks,
D. Pal
