Please advise whether XYZ Company can deduct the 3-month notice period during the probation period. The company stated in the appointment letter that if you leave the organization, you will have to pay a three-month notice period. However, the company did not specify whether the notice period will be considered during the probation period or after confirmation. Your advice or reply would be highly appreciated.

Is it clearly mentioned that 3 months notice period is there during probation?
It is felt that 3 month's notice period during probation period is quite unreasonable. You must submit a polite communication in writing , under proper acknowledgment and raise a query to clarify what is the notice of resignation period applicable during probation period, as it is not specifically described in your appointment letter, and seek a reply in writing.

Good morning all,

I would like to clarify, if the employee is ready to pay the notice period, does the employee have to pay the basic salary?

Kindly advise because in XYZ Company, if the two-month notice period is not fulfilled, the company doesn't pay anything apart from PF.
