Is Sick leave and Medical leave are same, or different. Does the Employer need to Provide Sick leave and Medical leave? Please advise !!

Most probably, your question pertains to shops and establishments, I think. Sick leave generally means short spells of leave taken by employees for occasional and ordinary sicknesses like cold, stomach pain, fever, etc., which require brief medical management. It is thus different from medical leave, which involves a long duration of treatment under constant medical care and supervision. There is no difference between sick leave and medical leave except in nomenclature. It is granted while in employment for short or long duration of sickness.

Dear Manochitra, The sick leave and medical leave is same. You need to follow the leave rule of your establishment or Standing Order, to interprete the nomenclature.
