Just as this calendar has inspirational thoughts that really refresh us every day, we have started our new year with an Energy Circle. All employees come together in the morning before they start work, stand in a circle, hold hands, do a two-minute gentle breathing exercise, say a Gratitude Prayer, share an inspirational thought, or talk about something inspirational for a minute or two. Anyone can share, and then we disperse. There is no compulsion to join; those who find it beneficial stay with the group and assemble at the stipulated time. This practice has actually brought about a great change with a lot of positive energy flowing. Inter-departmental communications have strengthened, and people relate to the inspirational thought throughout the day. It has helped our organization, and I thought I would share it with you.
