I am a 2017 engineering graduate in IT. I have scored 80% in 10th, 12th, and 75% in B.E. I came to Bangalore 1 month ago and haven't found a job yet. My financial condition is not good enough to support my stay in Bangalore. Therefore, I gave an interview at HGS Limited (BPO) and got selected. I am considering working here for 2 months to save some money for paying my PG rent. Would it be acceptable to leave the job after 2 months if I secure a position in an IT company? Please advise.

Hi Jimmy, I appreciate your efforts to find a job in Bangalore. I am not suggesting that the BPO job is bad, and it is not easy to secure a position in reputable BPOs like the one you have entered. However, it is a different job, and your BTech degree may not be as relevant there. Good English, basic skills in communication, reasoning, and the right attitude can help you succeed in that environment.

If you are considering this job to earn money for rent and expenses, I am unsure how long you will enjoy it or be able to fully commit to it. Also, consider the investment the company makes in onboarding you and the accountability of those who selected you if you were to leave within six months. Perhaps you need a more direct approach to earning money to cover your expenses.

- You can explore part-time job opportunities.
- If possible, seek out internship opportunities (see if you can intern without pay at startups or mid-sized IT firms).
- Do not abandon your passion for working in IT; with all your efforts, you can find a suitable position within a month.

Remember to maintain a single line break between paragraphs for better readability.
