Hi All, I am working with an MNC in Noida, and I am currently in a bond for 18 months with 9 months still to go. I have been contacted by my previous employer and asked to rejoin. I am in a dilemma because if I leave the job before 18 months, I am liable to pay Rs. 3 lakhs. Also, if I don't serve the notice period and want to leave immediately (without any notice period), my relieving letter and FNF will be withheld. I am mentioning the offer letter terms and conditions below. Can anyone help me, please? Thanks in advance!

Based on the terms and conditions outlined in your offer letter, leaving the job without serving the required notice period can lead to consequences such as withholding of your relieving letter and full and final settlement (FNF). Here are some key points to consider:

- The notice period for resignation is 60 days for confirmed employees and 30 days for employees under probation.
- Serving the notice period in full is mandatory as per the terms of your employment.
- If you leave without meeting the notice period requirement, the company reserves the right to withhold your relieving letter and FNF.
- The company may terminate your services without notice or compensation if your performance is unsatisfactory within the first three months of joining.
- Absence from work without approved leave for a continuous period may be treated as resignation, and you may be required to pay a specified amount in lieu of the notice period.
- If you wish to leave before completing one year of service, you may be required to reimburse certain expenses incurred by the company.

Given these conditions, it is advisable to carefully weigh your options and consider the potential implications of leaving without fulfilling the notice period requirements. It may be beneficial to have a discussion with your HR department to explore possible solutions or negotiate a mutually agreeable arrangement.
