I have joined a new company for the past two months, and I am not satisfied with working with them. I want to leave this company. They have not given me any offer letter or appointment letter, and they are asking me to submit a resignation letter. However, they are withholding my salary from last month because I am resigning. They have requested me to work for an additional week before releasing my last month's salary. I have already worked with them up to the current date, yet they are refusing to pay me for last month.
I am not requesting them to pay my current month's salary. What can I do? Please suggest.

What documentation or evidence do you have for having worked in this company for the last two months? Does it mean that you joined this company without any documentation, email, or letter? If you don't have any evidence, it would be better to wait until you receive at least one month's salary before quitting, even if you don't mind leaving without the 'relieving letter'. Presumably, since you are only two months into your probation period, you may quit with short notice. If it helps you, insist on an experience letter.
Retrieving Original Documents
Did you deposit any of your original mark sheets, certificates, etc., with them or sign any bonds? If yes, ensure to retrieve them as early as possible. Until then, maintain your composure.

Apart from what Mr. Kumar has mentioned, it's already mid-month, and the company will release the payment after one week of your extended service. That means you have to forgo three weeks' salary. Instead, stay there for another week or so and get the second-month salary too, and resign thereafter, as you do not have any offer in hand. This is purely my view; hence, get other forum members' advice too.
