Dear Colleagues, I have one query. Now, we are a manufacturing company with offices in Vizag, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Additionally, we have an ESIC Main code for Vizag and a subcode for Mumbai. Recently, we opened an office in Kolkata to work with a government establishment. Initially, we included the names of the employees who will work in Kolkata under the subcode for Mumbai. However, the principal employer (Govt Agency) is requesting a separate subcode for Kolkata. Could you please guide me on whether I should incorporate their names in the Mumbai subcode or generate a separate subcode for Kolkata? Your advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Subcode Generation for Calcutta Office
You have to generate a subcode for your Calcutta office. Since it is online, subcode generation is easy. You can do it now. After that, enroll your Calcutta workers under that subcode. While doing so, the existing numbers generated for them under the Bombay subcode will prevail. The only thing you have to note is that you should not select "NO" for the question "Is already a member" but choose "Yes" and provide the same number as was generated when you registered them in the Bombay subcode and then update.
