I work for a Korean MNC company that specializes in auto component manufacturing, with an overall employee strength of less than 100. At our headquarters in Korea, they follow the calendar year from January to December for the annual increment process. On the Indian side, we have been using the standard method of April to March. However, my management has now requested me to align our policy with the January to December timeline.
I would appreciate your support in determining the cutoff date for eligibility and providing some guidelines for policy creation.
Thanks and warm regards,
AKG

Increment, performance review, confirmation, etc., are all internal policies of the company. There is nothing to stop you from shifting the appraisal and increment dates to January. You can keep everything else the same, just shift the dates of the review and implementation of the increment.
