Hi Seniors,
Kindly guide me with some plans and ideas. I am working as an HR professional in a small startup software company, and I recently joined. This coming Saturday, we are going to conduct a walk-in interview at our client's place. I have already coordinated with our staffing agencies and arranged 30 candidates for the walk-in. Additionally, we plan to extend 10 offers on the same day.
This is my first time conducting a walk-in interview, and I would appreciate some guidance on how to proceed and what steps to take. Please share any tips or advice you may have.
Thank you.

Concerns About Walk-In Interview Process
Certainly not a recruitment method I would use. How are you going to interview 30 people, make proper assessments, and offer jobs all on the same day? Are these candidates pre-qualified, or are you just going to interview any Kumar, Raj, or Sandeep that walks in off the street?
Do you have a proper job description and person specification for each of the 10 positions? Do you have a standardized interview question sheet so that candidates for similar jobs are asked the same questions, allowing you to compare apples with apples? Have all your interviewers been trained in correct interview techniques? Do you have a standardized and robust reference-checking process in place?
As I write this, it is now almost 11 am on Saturday in Tiruppur. Hope it is going okay for you. Let us know what happened.
