Hi, I am working at XXX Computer and Software Pvt Ltd. My designation is Implementation Manager, and I am frustrated with the HR policy as we don't have Saturdays off. We work from 10 AM to 6:30 PM. In a month, we only have one paid holiday, no sick leave or CL policy, and we cannot carry forward leave to the next month. Leave encashment is based only on basic salary. We only receive six days of annual PL.
Seeking Advice on Changing HR Policies
Please advise on how to change this policy because HR will never listen to change the policy; she creates her own HR policy, which goes against the Act. Please help with changing this policy. Do you have an email ID to send a message for non-compliance with the act?

HR's Role and Filing a Complaint
HR is the face of management and performs tasks as instructed. Therefore, there is no point in complaining against HR directly. If you are willing to confront your employers, you may file a formal complaint with the Labour Office (LO). This is because your policies do not seem to comply with the Shops and Establishment Act of your state.
While filing a complaint with the LO could bring you justice, be prepared for potential retaliation from your employer. For one reason or another, they may attempt to terminate your employment. Hence, please consider the impact on your career as well.
Thanks,
