Deceased Employee Benefits and Claims: Insights on PF, EDLI, Gratuity, and Pension

I would like to know about an employee who expired on duty after serving 24 years of service. His wife also passed away, and his sons are above 21 years old. Please advise me regarding his claims for PF Employee contribution, Employer contribution, EDLI, Gratuity, etc.

His son will naturally get the PF accumulations, EDLI and gratuity. He will also get monthly orphan pension from PF since both the member (father) and his wife are not alive. Madhu.T.K

What is accumulated pension and 8.67? Who are not eligible for a Pension?

Your deceased employee's son will get a pension with retrospective effect. Since the employee had put in 24 years of service, he is eligible for a pension.
