I worked for the customer service department of an MNC as a Customer Service Associate. I cracked the interview for an internal job at a higher level (job openings were at a different office in another city in India). I moved from office X in one city to office Y in another city. It was a Team Lead role where I had been assigned a team whose performance I had to manage.
Job Title Discrepancy
There is no role called Senior Customer Service Associate at this site. The starting level role is Customer Service Associate, followed by Team Lead. When I received my relieving letter, my designation was mentioned as "Senior Customer Service Associate." When I talked with the main HR team, they confused me with the job title and business title. My role was that of a lead, and this was the only title mentioned. In my offer letter during the transfer for the Team Lead position and also in the emails that were circulated for the job opening, it was clearly mentioned as "Team Lead." Initially, they sent my relieving letter not after the normal 45 days but after more than 90 days, and now they are playing with me. Each time I email, they are looking into this issue.

What should I do now, or what sort of legal action is necessary?
Thanks.
