Hi, 3 months before I have joined a company as a fresher by signing a 2-year bond. I have some personal issues, so I want to go back to my native place and leave the organization. There are some contradictions that were found, so I need some clarification.

1. The offer letter said, "before completion of 6 months, either party can terminate with a prior notice of 15 days," but the 100 Rs stamp paper states that I have to work for 2 years.

Did you point out this contradiction between offer letter and bond conditions? Now you can dispute the matter but still company will create problems if they want.

@NathRao,

Thanks for your reply. There is one more contradiction I have found in the offer letter. It's written that the agreement I have to sign in the later stage is for the duration of 18 months and the amount will be 1 lakh, but in the bond, it's written that the duration is 2 years and the bond amount will be 2 lakhs. What are the chances of the company creating problems?

Thanks,
Diya

The chances are quite high, in my opinion. You work there and can judge their attitudes better. Whenever intentional variations are made, it is with the specific intention of creating hurdles. Of course, I may be wrong; it could be plain inefficiency or oversight in making different bond amounts and periods. You can probably point out the differences and then see the reaction.
