I am afraid videos can't motivate them unless you have achievers relevant to their areas of struggle sharing their stories in it.

I have a lengthy solution to your brief question. Assuming that you have women employees at different levels and age groups in your firm, please sort them accordingly. No problem is similar. Every age group has its specific life cycle concerns.

Since you are designing a program, I request you to first group those challenges and then find specific speakers who have already faced, failed, and resolved them.

Videos are cost-effective; however, they don't do all the good as they are not interactive. Please invite speakers to your firm and let them speak directly to your employees. Unlike counseling sessions, these are a lot more open and live with almost everyone under one roof. Hence, time-saving and help in bonding far greater than private sessions.

If I may ask, which city are you in? I wish to nominate someone if I know a person aligned with the challenges your employees are facing.

Wishing you all the best for your initiative.

Thanks for your message. I am in Chennai currently and working in the automotive industry. We want to improve diversity in our organization and encourage women to take on leadership roles. Currently, the ratio is just 9:1 (Men: Women).

How to Develop More Women in Leadership Roles

The age group of women working is around 25-35, with experience ranging from freshers from college to a maximum of around 10 years in the industry. We need to design a program to help women develop within the organization. Please suggest.

Thanks,
Jaya

Diversity is far greater than training women. Diversity needs a full plan for placing deserving women talent in leadership levels, up to a board member role. Let's talk in detail about this. However, since you were looking for videos, here are a few TED Talks. Hope it helps.

Susan Colantuono: The career advice you probably didn’t get #TED

David Grady: How to save the world (or at least yourself) from bad meetings #TED

Candy Chang: Before I die I want to... #TED

Mellody Hobson: Color blind or color brave? #TED

Jill Shargaa: Please, please, people. Let's put the 'awe' back in 'awesome' #TED
