I am working as a manager in a C&F (C&F for an MNC). Now, the agreement period has come to an end. The MNC is now looking for a new agent while retaining the employees. I want to know what the procedure will be to transition the employees to EPF, ESI, and other requirements as per the labor department.

Dear Murali,
It will be treated as a change of employer for EPF. There is a UAN number available through the online portal. You can transfer the employee, and after contacting the EPF office, the old share of EPF can be easily transferred.
For ESIC, from the old employee portal, ensure the employee is removed during the submission of the monthly return. Then, join the new employer portal online and contact the local ESIC office.
