Contract of Service
An agreement where one person agrees to employ another as an employee, and the other agrees to serve his employer as an employee. The employer is responsible for the payment of wages and statutory deductions like PF, ESIC, etc. The employer has full control over employee recruitment, dismissal, promotion, etc. Additionally, the employer has full control/ownership of factors of production.
Contract for Service
A contract for services can be described as an agreement where a person is engaged as an independent contractor, like a self-employed person or vendor engaged for a fee to carry out an assignment or a project for the company. Under such a work arrangement, there is no employer-employee relationship.
Many companies outsource conservancy services. The contractor concerned is on a contract for service, namely conservancy. The contractor is responsible for paying his employees being deployed to complete the main employer's tasks.
A contract of service is often for the long term, while a contract for service may be for a short duration or until a specific job is completed.

Friends, in the above case, a person employed for sanitary repair, electric repair, machinery repair, etc., called on the phone for the specific work they are employed for under a contract of service or contract for service. In other words, is the employer responsible for payment of ESI, PF, etc., for such labor or not.
