Hi, I am Mayur.

I want to know the salary structure for different designations. I have come across some salary structures where I found that in some companies, the basic salary is taken as 40%, and in some companies, it is taken as 50% of the CTC. I want to know if there are specific specifications on salary structures.

Can anyone help me out with this?

Is it compulsory for a private limited company registered under the West Bengal Shops and Establishment Act to pay a minimum House Rent Allowance (HRA) of 50 percent of basic pay in Kolkata, or is it decided by the company? Also, what is the calculation of City Compensatory Allowance and Conveyance Allowance? Please help me.

I want to know, can we consider 100% basic pay as salary without any allowances? Is it legal? I mean, in my company, we have been given the choice to restructure my salary component. Please advise urgently.
