I want to know the salary structure for different designations. I have come across some salary structures where I found that in some companies, the basic salary is taken as 40%, and in some companies, it is taken as 50% of the CTC. I want to know if there are specific specifications on salary structures.

Is it compulsory for a private limited company registered under the West Bengal Shops and Establishment Act to pay a minimum House Rent Allowance (HRA) of 50 percent of basic pay in Kolkata, or is it decided by the company?
