My brother was working with a company in Gandhidham and left the company a few years ago. Now, he is no longer with us. Not only PF and pension, but EDLI is also eligible. Normally, all these claims will be processed immediately after death. Why is it delayed in this case? It would be better if you contact the concerned Regional PF Commissioner's office regarding this.

Pension will be received by his 2 children and wife. Therefore, the required documents need to be obtained from the Tahsildar office, including translation of the English language by an advocate, and the Death certificate. 100% of the benefits will be received by them.

The PF office mentioned that my father could not prove dependency on me; therefore, I am not eligible for the pension. However, I can withdraw all other amounts.
I seek confirmation regarding the reasons provided by the PF office as I suspect corruption among the staff who may be accepting money from companies. This situation has left me feeling confused.

I regret to inform you that your brother passed away before reaching the age of 58 years. In such circumstances, completing 10 years of service is not necessary to be eligible for pension. Additionally, your father's income will not affect his eligibility to receive pension benefits, as the PF pension serves as compensation for the member's contributions to the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS).
Your father may be entitled to a pension amount of Rs. 2051.
