Hello All, I have been working for 4.5 years in a small IT firm. About 1.5 years ago, in a fantasy to change my field (with fake experience/salary certificates through consultancy), I applied to/attended many interviews but could not succeed in getting a job because my skills were not adequate.
However, after a lot of trying, I later realized that the current job I was doing was sufficient, and I don't want to spoil my career by using fake certificates. Now, I am still working in this IT company and looking for a job in a genuine way.
Recently, I found out that the consultancy I used is also on the list of 200 fake companies that are circulated among HR professionals by the Police. I am very scared now, wondering whether I will also be in trouble. I have not obtained a job anywhere using this fake certificate. I am feeling fully anxious and depressed about this. Can someone tell me what I should do?
