As the PF ceiling increased from ₹6,500 to ₹15,000 as of 01.09.2014, the Employer Contribution under PF Voluntary coverage also increases. Previously:
- **EPF Employees' Share:** ₹6,500 x 12% = ₹780
- **EPS Employer Share:** ₹6,500 x 8.33% = ₹541
- **EPF Employer Share:** ₹6,500 x 3.67% = ₹239
- **EDLI Charges:** ₹6,500 x 0.5% = ₹33
- **EPF Admin Charges:** ₹6,500 x 1.1% = ₹72
- **EDLI Admin Charges:** ₹6,500 x 0.01% = ₹0.65 (Rounded up to ₹1)
With the new ceiling:
- **EPF Employees' Share:** ₹15,000 x 12% = ₹1,800
- **EPS Employer Share:** ₹15,000 x 8.33% = ₹1,249.5
- **EPF Employer Share:** ₹15,000 x 3.67% = ₹550.5
- **EDLI Charges:** ₹15,000 x 0.5% = ₹75
- **EPF Admin Charges:** ₹15,000 x 1.1% = ₹161
