My company falls under the Shops and Establishments Act. An employee in my company has availed her maternity leave and she wants to know if she can combine her CLs and PLs along with her maternity leave.

Legal Rules for Combining Leaves

Is there any legal rule regarding combining other leaves with maternity leave, or does it depend on the company's HR policy itself? Please advise.

There is no legal provision not to club the Leaves i.e. CL/SL/PL with Maternity Leave. It is purely at the discretion of the Management of the company or any such policy of the company.
