In my life, I have read hundreds of quotes and lines, but this one has shaken something deep inside me. So, I thought of sharing. I am still trying to grasp the real meaning behind it:
"Truth can always be told but can never be expressed, and a lie can always be expressed but can never be told."
I tried to delve deeper into it. The more I dug, the more I realized the inadequacy of words. Any thoughts or insights on this?
Thank you.

Dear Simhan, Thank you for replying and showing interest in the quote above. This quote is from an OSHO lecture about truth and lies. He was explaining the story of the ten bulls from Zen monks. He referred to truth as something that can never be fully expressed but can only be told. If something is true, then it stands on its own; nothing more is needed. Words cannot truly express the essence of truth. Similarly, he discussed the concept of lies.
