Clarification on Applicability of the Employees' Provident Fund Act

The Section 1, clause no. 5 of "The Employees' Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Act, 1952" clearly states that: "An establishment to which this Act applies shall continue to be governed by this Act notwithstanding that the number of persons employed therein at any time falls below twenty."

Dear seniors, we have 5 branches in different places in Tamil Nadu. Each branch has 6 employees. To date, we have not covered the ESI and EPF, but the head office is only working with 2 members.

Future Implications of Not Contributing to PF and ESI

If we do not contribute to the PF and ESI, will any problems arise in the future? What are the provisions to consider?

Steps to Cover Head Office and Obtain Sub-code for Branches

How can we cover the head office and obtain the sub-code for the other branches?
