Efficient Methods for Rotor Removal in Motor Repair

My workshop contains a motor repairing unit that is in dire need of safety modifications. Is there a better way to safely remove the rotor from an HT or LT motor without any hassle? The current process is challenging to follow—mainly involving shifting the rotor using a sling crane, adjusting the center of gravity of the rotor halfway, and then using bars as leverage to complete the task (supported by the crane and slings).

I am curious if a more efficient method has been developed to simplify the entire process?

Standard Operating Procedure Submission for HT Motor Assembly

I am submitting the SOP for HT motor assembly, which details the procedures followed in the section. The shaft is supported using a rod as a lever, which, while making it easy, is also unsafe.

I am wondering if there is a machine that, while in a stationary position, could move the shaft or shift it in a horizontal direction?
