Hi,
Transferring PF from one region to another is a challenging task, and the employee must personally follow up with the respective PF office as neither the current employer nor the previous employer will take the burden of the follow-up. You will need a signed copy of Form No. 13 (transfer form), an acknowledgment receipt confirming the submission of the form to the RPFC of the previous employer, and copies of the annexures (contribution cards, Form No. 5, Form No. 10 obtained from the previous employer). Write a letter to the RPFC F&A attaching copies of all the documents. Later on, you may request information under RTI.
You can reach us at 9122-26470007 or email us at pmrppathak@yahoo.com.
Thank you.

Hi,
When any employer submits our PF withdrawal form to the PF office, the PF office provides a receipt number and the date of submission or acceptance of the form. Just ask your employer for the PF submitted forms' receipt number and date.
Accordingly, you can inquire at any PF office in India as it is a central law. If your employer does not provide the above details, then please fill out a new form - Form No. 19 & 10C for pension - and submit it directly to the PF office. Also, include an application stating that your employer did not provide any proper response, hence you are submitting it directly to the PF office (nearest to your area).
In such a scenario, the PF office will send that form to the employer for processing as it is mandatory. The PF office will assist you as it is their duty. Do not worry about it.

Dear Sir,
I want to transfer my previous PF. I left my previous organization in Feb 2007. I have the PF number as well.
The issue is that my previous company is based in Calcutta, and they are sending PF to the West Bengal PF office. Our office branch is in Mumbai where I was located, but the PF is being sent to the West Bengal PF office. I wish to transfer my PF to my current organization.
Please assist me with this.
I look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Archana

Hi Archana,
As PF is central law, you do not need to worry about different locations. When it comes to PF transfer, you need to fill up Form No. 13. In the form, you are required to provide details of:
1. Your last PF account number, which you mentioned you already have.
2. Your last company's PF account number, which you can obtain from your last company's HR/payroll person.
After filling out the form, submit it to your current employer. The location does not matter in PF transfer or withdrawal.

My previous PF account was in Kolkata, West Bengal. Now, I am permanently staying in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. I resigned from my previous company 2 years ago, but I have not transferred or withdrawn the PF amount yet. Can you please confirm if my previous PF account is still active? If so, how can I withdraw the PF amount from Gorakhpur?
