Discussion on Sharing HR Managers' Contact Details
Everyone is asking for help regarding the contact details of HR Managers from different companies and organizations, but they never receive the same in return. Why is this happening? Could it be that somebody might misuse this information? Or is it expected for the individual to find it themselves? What are your thoughts on this?
Thank you.

Ethical Considerations of Sharing Contact Details
It's not ethical to disclose someone else's contact details, especially in a public forum. We already receive a significant amount of junk mail and unsolicited phone calls; by making this information public in a general forum, we will only increase the amount of unwanted communication.

If you need the contact details, then phone or email the company with a reason why you want the information. Then it is up to the company to divulge this information—or not.
Members of CiteHR should be professional and NOT give out confidential information without the consent of the person concerned and the organization as a whole. How would you feel if I knew your name and phone number and started posting it every time someone asked for this sort of information? I have no doubt you would be sending the hitmen after me. Divulging and sharing confidential information is not the way to help people.

Help, in terms of what? You can't build an organization from ground zero by seeking help. That requires professional help, a paid consultancy. You post your requirement and just watch the number of contacts that start pouring in. As for generic help, it is already available on CiteHR. There is a wealth of information here on CiteHR, but you will have to learn searching on your own.

Dear All, thanks for your comments and advice. By the way, I found a way to discover the contacts of HR personnel and I have obtained around 40+ genuine contacts, and it's increasing.
Professional Ethics and Privacy
In view of professional ethics and privacy, publishing or sharing the contacts of any person without their consent is not ethical. I understand that everyone is seeking professional contacts to build a large database, whether for sale or personal use.
However, help is help, and no one can achieve success without assistance from others.
Thank you all.

Those who need help and those who can provide help are already in this forum. People wish to remain anonymous here by choice, and this should be respected. Those who would like to publicize their presence have the choice to do so. However, it would not be fair to publish details and contact information about them, as they will be harassed by people seeking their "help" or connivance. Since my details are available on some websites, every day I keep getting emails or phone calls from consultants for the empanelment of their consultancy or from candidates seeking a job. They are not just satisfied with sending emails but would like to know the progress by calling every other day. It is not only bothersome, but the fact is that it's beyond one's capacity to fulfill all such requests. One should understand the limitations involved.

This is exactly why these data requests are not fulfilled and most of the time deleted by the admin. The last line of this post makes the entire exercise suspicious. When Sakir said he has got 40 contracts, I assume he sent individual posts to people and got their details in reply. I hope he is not planning to betray the trust of those who gave their numbers to him.

Jagdish,
If you need help to "resolve some doubts regarding HR," please use the search box at the top of every page here at CiteHR. If you still require assistance after reading the abundant information posted here on ALL HR topics, then post a question to the group, and we will help.
You do not need to ask people to disclose confidential information about contacts. Please bear in mind that it may not be convenient for people to take your call, nor might they want to be receiving calls all the time from people they do not know. If you have a busy job, this is the last thing you would want.
We need to learn to respect other people and their time. CiteHR is a bountiful resource on all aspects of HR. Please use it to solve your problems and to add to the information already here.

Exactly as you said it, Mr. Saswata Banerjee. Being a Senior Executive in HR, Mr. Jagadish is not aware of the burden HR personnel carry to maintain good relationships with everyone while also ensuring privacy.
Thanks.
Mr. Jagadish, actually, I started this thread to collect advice only, not to gather contacts. If you are wise, you can obtain contacts from your surroundings, Mr. Jagadish. Search for it in your database.

Seeking contacts of HR professionals - honestly, even if someone shares the database, it won't really help much. It is not knowing and networking with every other HR professional that will make someone succeed.
While I was new to the industry and looking for job opportunities, I too had this feeling that if I could get a few contacts from somewhere, it would help. I never got them, but that never demotivated me. I kept on doing my duty, searched for people, got to know them, and there are people who contacted me to know more, share more, and discuss more. I am happy with it.
Rather than spamming people's inboxes, I believe you should first get to know the people and contribute your best so that you are recognized; otherwise, the calls are ignored, messages deleted, and emails reported as spam/junk.
All the best.
