I have a query. If an establishment is based in a specific state and has its employees (sales team, etc.) in another state as well, then which state's laws would be applicable to those employees?

It depends on the type of your establishment. If it is a shop or commercial establishment coming under the purview of the Shops and Establishment Act and has branches in other states, the branches would be covered under the respective state's S & E Act. If it is an establishment engaged in the pharmaceutical industry, then your sales team would be covered by the Sales Promotion Employees (Conditions of Service) Act, 1976, which is a Central Enactment.
