Common Industry Hazards

The following hazards are common in any industry: Electrical Hazards, Struck-By Hazards, Caught-In-Between Hazards, and Fall Hazards. I came across a very nice presentation and am sharing it with the team.

We work with chemicals, reactors, centrifuges, a hydrogenation plant, a nitrogen plant, various stationary & mobile equipment, DG sets, etc. Can someone please tell me what the Factories Act states about it? For example, should all reactors have safety relief valves (is it mandatory)? What about centrifuges? I have been searching the net for it, but to no avail. Please share your knowledge with us so that we can make our factory a safe working zone.

Warm regards.

Thank you for the exhaustive and illustrative presentation. Some of the photos are shocking. The reality of a fatal accident is gruesome to watch. I hope those who see it take appropriate actions. Learning from others' mistakes in retrospect is very important.
