Dear Seniors, Please guide if there is any maximum limit for the sodexo coupons issued by company. Is it only Rs.1250/- per month considering Rs.50/- per mean during office hours?

Not much experienced in this area, but while I was searching for this information a while back, I found out the following:
- Food allowance is taxable above ₹50 per meal per day.
- Note that if someone works a double shift, the allowance would be calculated accordingly.
- However, when Sodexo coupons or similar vouchers are provided, they are tax-free.
During my internship with a reputed company, we used to receive:
- ₹400 canteen coupon/voucher per month
- ₹400 Sodexo coupon per month.
