I'm a final-year management student and am presently working on my project titled "Attrition and Retention Strategies" in a specific company. I have created an MCQ-based questionnaire, but the issue I am currently facing is regarding how to contact the resigned employees.
Alternative Methods for Gathering Data
Is there any alternative method through which I can obtain answers to the questionnaire without relying solely on the company's exit interview forms, which are mostly descriptive? Also, can current employees be approached for questions related to retention?
Thanks in advance.

It is very difficult to answer queries raised by students who like to remain anonymous. However, I will try. Please go through http://deloitte.com <link fixed> and see if the article/report there helps to trigger your thoughts. What type of Multiple Choice Questionnaire are you using? You need to see if the questions designed for use with people who have left are suitable for people who are still with the firm.

The links you suggested are indeed helpful, thank you, sir. The questions I'm using include:
Likert 5-Point Scale
- Highly satisfied
- Satisfied
- Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied
- Dissatisfied
- Highly dissatisfied
Dichotomous Scale
- Yes or no
I am working on a Likert scale questionnaire with a maximum of 5-6 questions for present employees regarding the key areas of employee retention, which include compensation, environment, etc.
If you have any further suggestions about the same, it would be helpful.
