Hi,
I want to pursue a course in HR. As I am located in Pune, I would appreciate it if somebody could suggest a course in Pune that can be done on weekends (something similar to HR House). It would not be possible for me to enroll in a full-time course.
Regards,
Supriya

Hi Karan,
To briefly introduce myself, I am a postgraduate in Computer Management. However, I ended up in HR and have almost 3 years of experience. I need some qualifications to endorse my experience. I am looking for some short-term courses, either distance or weekend courses.
Please suggest if you are aware of any such courses running in Pune.

Supriya

Hey Supriya,
For a short-term distance course in HR, you could pursue DHRM (1-year distance course) from NMIMS (www.nmimsonline.org). The city does not matter since there are no lectures. Exams are scheduled in December and June, conducted in major cities, including Pune.
Thanks and Regards,
Karan

Hi!
I have completed my DHRM from Welingkar's Institute in 2006 and have 2.4 years of experience in HR and Admin. I am interested in pursuing a course in HR. Can you please suggest one?
I would like to know how beneficial short-term courses in HR are. Are they worth doing? Will they add any weightage to my CV?
Regards,
Preeti

Hi Supriya,
You may not have campus interviews for these courses, but a distance MBA is definitely good to have, especially for those who can't do it full-time or part-time. As they say, something is better than nothing. It will definitely be advantageous that you have completed a distance MBA when you go for interviews after finishing the course.
Thanks and Regards,
Karan.
