I recently finished my degree and joined an organization with 15 employees. I need an attendance sheet and want to know how to calculate their salaries. Should I use an Excel sheet for this? Also, please advise me on my role as an HR executive as I have no prior experience.

Understanding Attendance Sheets and Leave Categories
Having reviewed the above-mentioned links, I believe that obtaining answers to the questions provided will greatly assist me in comprehending the attendance sheets. I am unsure of the number of leaves available in SL, CL, ML, and other categories.

Dear Hassnain, that's what I wanted from you. I actually wanted you to read the post for your better understanding and knowledge and to attempt the attached sheet there for your practical experience.
I can give you the formula and other calculations in simple language that you can use, but by doing this, I would actually be stealing an opportunity from you to put your own effort into discovering the answers yourself, which I don't really want to do. One must not look for ready material or for a copy-paste procedure but needs to put his/her own effort, which is the very first and basic required skill.
Many members are here who can give you exactly what you are looking for and can help you, but soon after, you'd realize what actual knowledge you'd have earned. You replied to me twice in a few minutes, which automatically says how difficult it was for you to discover your question and how much you are interested in doing so, which is not a good thing for you, I would say.
I advise you again, please go through the attachment and details first and come again with your discoveries. We'd be very happy to have them.
