Hi, I would like to know some details about the restrictions on employees doing part-time work after office hours, on leave, or during weekends. How can an employer prevent employees from engaging in such activities?

Does the employer pay for 8 hours or 24 hours? An employee and an employer have agreed on 8 hours of work. Then why does the employer want to interfere beyond 8 hours? If the employer's work is suffering due to the extra work of the employee, then ask the employee to leave the organization and hire a new employee.

Why Do People Go for Part-Time Work?

Obviously, for more earnings. Give extra work and extra money to the employee. They will not go and work part-time, and the employer can stop work after office hours.

That's obvious and true, Mr. Manjay. I agree. But if the employer has an overtime (OT) scheme, and people do not want to do overtime and prefer working at home, how will the employer have control over them?
