I have a question. 12% of the basic is calculated as PF contribution for both the employee and employer. According to my knowledge, the employee contribution (12% of basic) is deducted from the salary, and the employer contribution, which the company will pay, is not deducted from the employee's salary, right?
In one of my friend's companies, as per the company compensation structure, both contributions are deducted from the employee's salary. Is this the correct way?
