How do you solve it? I tried, but the frogs move in only one direction. I get stuck each time I try. Can't come up with the solution. If each frog from left to right is given Number 1 through 6 (1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6)... give me the solution. I am eager to know the way it could be solved.

Here you go, Seema.
You have to note that no two same-colored frogs should be there in adjacent positions:
1) Move the green frog, then the brown one.
2) Again, move the brown frog from the right side.
3) Then the green frog from the left side.
4) Again, move the green frog from the left side, and the last frog as well. Now, the last stone on the left side is empty.
5) Move the brown frog from the right side, then the other brown frog, and the last frog as well. The last stone on the right side also becomes empty with no frog.
6) Now, change the positions of the frogs, and it's done.

Deepa

Thanks for all contributions.
For me, the frog leap was a lot of fun and challenging. I solved it on the 4th or 5th try. I am just wondering, do these kinds of tests increase the intelligence quotient or do they only help the mind learn through experience?

Hi,
After trying this exercise 40 times, I am still not able to change the positions. I need to doubt my IQ, but I am still trying.
Hi, try this: move the 1st green frog, then the 1st brown (jumps over the green frog), then the 2nd brown, then the 1st green (jumps over the 2nd brown frog), 2nd green, and 3rd green. Next, move the 1st brown, then the 2nd brown, and the 3rd brown. After that, move the 1st green, the 2nd green, and the 3rd green, then the 2nd brown and the 3rd brown. Finally, move the last green to WIN!!!!
