My friend has been working with our company for around 11 years. Next month, he will be resigning from his job. I would like to inquire if he is eligible to withdraw the pension contribution amount in full along with his PF amount.

One who has served as a member of EPS for 10 years or more will receive a Scheme certificate only. Withdrawal is not possible as the commutation scheme has also been withdrawn now. There is no option for him other than the scheme certificate.
If he has crossed 50 years, then he may opt for a reduced pension.

One who has served as a member of EPS for 10 years or more will receive a Scheme Certificate only; withdrawal is not possible. You only need to fill out Form-19 to get the withdrawal facility for the remaining amount except for the pension. If he has crossed 58 years, then he may opt for a reduced pension.

Dear Sir, Now, pension withdrawal benefits are eligible for 9 years 6 months (rounded off to 10 years) or 8 years 6 months (rounded off to 9 years). Kindly advise me regarding the pension withdrawal benefit eligibility period. If any related documents (PF Office) are available, please send them to me for reference.
Thanks,
