5S: A Beautiful Concept for Any Organization
5S is a very beautiful concept, and it can help you a lot irrespective of the organization you are working in. It also helps you at home. However, it requires patience; you have to go step by step.
First, implement the first 'S' - Seiri, i.e., sorting out. This alone will take 2-3 months. When you are sure that it is fully implemented, then move to the second 'S'. All the 'S's are related to each other, and you can achieve the best results if you are fully satisfied with Seiri before moving on to Seiton, and so on.
