Hi Everybody, 😊
I have just completed a 1-year diploma in HR. I would like to pursue an Online or Distance MBA from Mumbai. I am working in a manufacturing company as a senior HR executive, and I really want to pursue an Online or Distance MBA from Mumbai. Please suggest some names from Mumbai for Online or Distance MBA.
Regards, Archana

Check this website: [IGNOU - The People's University](http://www.ignou.ac.in).
I am doing my MBA from IGNOU, which is very affordable at 1000 per subject x 21 courses of MBA. Lectures are conducted every weekend. Upon completion, an MBA degree is provided, but no dual specialization is offered. Options for specializations are only Operations, HR, Finance, and Marketing.
Dear migseee, I would like to have a look at those sixty specializations. I can understand 9, but 60?????????????

Dear Kabirhr,
Yes, there are compulsory classes every weekend, i.e., Sunday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, divided into four lectures including a half-hour break. Sometimes there are classes on Saturday evenings, but we do not attend those.
In one of today's posts, there is a broader discussion about the courses from IGNOU. I will get back to you with the post heading after some time. Meanwhile, you can try to find out the recent post; the heading of the post is similar to this one.

Thanks for the info. I am actually pursuing PGDHRM through IGNOU-Dubai. I have an option of carrying over these 5 course credits if I want to continue MBA, but the fee is too high here compared to India. That's why I was thinking whether to pursue an MBA from Dubai or from India, but if classes are compulsory, I will not be able to pursue it from India. In Dubai, there are no compulsory classes.
Meanwhile, I've also got admission in the EXECUTIVE PROGRAM IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT at XLRI-Dubai (evening classes - Dec 2010 batch). That's why I'm in a bit of a dilemma - whether to join MBA (IGNOU) or pursue PGDHRM (IGNOU) + EPHRM (XLRI).
