Hi Abhi, here is the path for the creation of the Payroll Area: SPRO -- IMG -- Personnel Management -- Personnel Administration -- Organizational Data -- Organizational Assignment -- Create payroll area.
Understanding Payroll Area
Payroll Area is used to group employees whose payroll is run with the same frequency and payment date in the organization. The Control Record can be created via T Code PA03. For more details, please check the following group: <link outdated-removed>

Steps to Create a Payroll Area and Assign it to a Control Record
SPRO-- IMG--Personnel Management --Personnel Administration --Organizational Data --Organizational Assignment --Create payroll area-- new entries
- Payroll area: CO
- Payroll area text: Corporate employees
- Permissibility: ✔️
- Start date: 16.10.2011
Save and go to the control record. Create a control record (to see the change, delete, control record).
- Payroll area: CO
- Change
- Payroll period: June 2006
- Back period: Jan 2007
Release for payroll ✔️
Release for correction (X)
Release jumps from 06 ➔ 07 (01)
Check results (X)
Exit payroll (X)
After exiting payroll, if we release the button, Exit payroll then 07 and 01 both get changed.
PE03 ABKRS feature
PA20: Select the person and check the results.
