Hi Friends,
I'll be conducting a training session next week for executives in my organization, and my topic is "POSITIVE ATTITUDE." I need a suggestion on how to open the training session. What kind of stories or practical experiences can I share before I move on to my main topic? So, I would appreciate some guidance on how to begin the training session for the above-said topic.

Hi,
Attached is a PowerPoint presentation on Winning Thoughts, which you can use as examples for promoting a positive attitude during your training session. The presentation discusses various celebrities who have achieved success in challenging circumstances. These examples are powerful and will enhance the effectiveness of your session.

Hi Ritvi,
Attitude is a great topic to get started. You may begin your session with a video clip from the movie Forrest Gump, where the young kid breaks free of his shackles. Alternatively, you may also start by introducing the legend Jesse Owens.
Hope this helps.

Hi Ritvi,
You can introduce a few icebreakers or energizers for the same. For example, you can place a half glass of water on the table and ask all the participants about the object one by one. Their replies will reveal their mindset. You can also ask them to write down their life goals.
Furthermore, you can divide the participants into groups and ask them to discuss the theme of the training and give a presentation on the same.
Wishing you all the best.

Hi,
The attachments are very good. Thanks for posting it.
Here is another story about positive thinking and taking opportunities. Hope it's useful to you in some way.
---------------------------------------------------------------
Be A Possibilitarian
Nine people were discussing a business problem. The challenge they were facing was not their fault; it was circumstances beyond their control that resulted in this problem.
The problem was identified, and they were discussing what they were going to do about it. "What will we do," asked one of them. One person immediately said, "There is nothing we can do."
That response was unacceptable to the rest of the group and acted as a spark of action. "Yes, there is something we can do!" replied two of them in unison. It was at that point that their minds started to work, coming up with solutions. We are all faced with challenges at some point in our life, challenges that we did not create. Challenges that happened beyond our control. The difference is how we respond to these challenges. You can adopt the attitude that there is nothing you can do, or you can see the challenge as your call to action.
As Norman Vincent Peale said, "Become a 'possibilitarian'.
No matter how dark things seem to be or actually are, raise your sights and see the possibilities - Always see them.

Hi Ritvi,
I am a new member of CiteHR, working as HR Coordinator in DXB.
For you a small story for Positive attitude.
Once there was loving couple traveling in a bus in a mountainous
area. They decided to get down at some place. After the couple got
down at some place the bus moved on. As the bus moved on, a huge rock fell on
the bus from the mountain and crushed the bus to crumbs. Everybody on
board was killed. The couple upon seeing that, said, "We wish we were on
that bus" Why do u think they said that?
“If they had remained on the bus instead of deciding to get down, the
resulting time delay could have been avoided and the rock would have
fallen after the bus had passed ..!!! Think positive in life always
and look for opportunities when u can help Others......”
Many times in life, the opposite of Success is not Failure, its
Quitting.
Winners never quit, quitters never Win .
Never expect things to happen. struggle and make them happen.
Never expect yourself to be given a good value...create a value of ur
own.
--------------- Thanks & Regards PRK

Start your training with the meaning of the positive attitude. The relation between them - all the members must have this much confidence as the people of Sukhagrat area have when a saint told them to come out of their house in the evening as this evening they will have the first rain. All the people come out from their house with the umbrella. This much positive approach is required to have a positive attitude, and the result is 100% sure in terms of change in the method of doing work, looking at the problem too.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Hi Ritvi, Please go through the attachment. I hope you find it usefull, Regards, ashwini
