I have applied for a PAN number years back and received it, but to date, I have never received the PAN card. While checking online, I found that the spelling of my name and even my date of birth is wrong in the PAN number details. Can it be rectified? If yes, then how? If no, then what do I have to do to get a new PAN number and card?

Please fill out Form 49A for any changes or corrections to PAN data at the nearest NSDL office or with an associate. NSDL charges a nominal fee of about Rs 90.00 for this service, and in 15-20 days, you will receive the PAN card with the updated details.
