In case of PB -3, salary will be Substantive (15600) + Grade Pay (8000) + Other pay, whatever applicable on e.g. DA (51% of (Substantiate + GP)), HRA, MA, etc., will be your gross minus the deductions = Net payment. Substantiate increases annually, and grade pay increases when there is a promotion. Substantiate increases up to the highest level (i.e., 39100).
