Who can stop these things? In Mumbai, we are the ones providing food and shelter privileges to Mr. Kasab, who is the culprit behind the earlier attacks. There is no fear of punishment, so again, who can stop this?

Ritu, that's what my intention is. We have become so crocodile-skinned. Nobody wants to raise their voice. Nobody wants to question the government. What are we up to? If we are not secure, then what is the meaning of all this hustle and bustle which we do in our life? Why can't Mumbai stop for a day and protect or do a candlelight march? I will join you, and the whole country will join you. We need to speak.

Thank you, Kyati, for sharing this. I love this song. I know how it feels when someone goes to the border with no mobile communication (don't be swayed by the Airtel 3G ad; it's only a marketing strategy, far from reality). Whenever I see the news, only one thing comes to mind: "Please, God, let there not be any bad news." We should all be proud of our soldiers. May God save them and bless them with a long life.

There was a corruption issue. People talked, kept talking. There was a terrorist issue. People talked, kept talking, and now a bomb blast. We still talk, and we will keep talking. What are we going to do? We are so engrossed in our own lives that we do nothing but talk. This is taken as an advantage. We all give kudos to our soldiers who fight and die saving us. We shed two drops of tears and say we are proud of them and then mind our business. And we keep blaming the government for all the lacunae. As citizens, what have we done?
Can we go to the government and say if they are not interested or incapable of securing the safety of our country, we ourselves would do it? Can the public get trained patrols to look into the safety issues? The cost can be shared by all the citizens of the country. We are 100 crores in population. One rupee per month per citizen. Will not that suffice to upgrade the safety of the nation?
