I am not only surprised and shocked at your query but also feel outraged! Could you explain in detail why you need such an NOC? Which country are you located in? In India and other democratic countries, and in any country that upholds Human Rights, such things cannot be imagined.
Are you an HR professional? If so, you should know that to attain the status of a "wife," a woman must be an adult, and as such, any adult does not require an NOC from any of her relatives to work. In case you are married (I assume from your name that you are a female), did you submit an NOC before taking up your current job?
The civilized world has come a long way since the abolition of slavery and gender dominance/exploitation.

In some countries, you need a No Objection Certificate from your visa sponsor, which can be your husband, father, mother, etc. I need a no objection certificate from my father to work anywhere as I am on his visa sponsorship. This has nothing to do with gender dominance. So you can relax; it's probably nothing. :)
