Dear All,
I have started a new HR consultancy and I find it very difficult to choose a database service provider. So please advise me on what I should be doing. I am opting for the annual subscription. I also want to share some info I collected about Naukri and Monster.
Naukri
1. It was started way back in 1997, and everybody seems to know the brand.
2. They are not providing flexible payment options, and the premium service limits your access to just 50,000 resumes a year.
3. They have good website traffic as per Alexa.
Monster
1. They started in the year 2004, and only employed and urbane people seem to know the brand better.
2. They are providing very flexible payment options and unlimited access to resumes.
3. They are behind in web traffic when compared with Naukri.
Personally, I like the user experience of Monster, but I am a bit confused as a lot of people seem to favor Naukri (I am referring to the people I met in the business and also on different review sites). I find CiteHR to be the best HR community forum for companies and consultancy. Please advise me on what I should be doing? Thank you in advance.

Dear bard52,
Greetings!!!
The main difference between Naukri and Monster is very simple. In Naukri, the foremost thing is the brand name. You can see in many MNCs and big companies, they register their database in Naukri rather than Monster or Times Jobs. Another important thing is they have an unlimited database compared to others. You can see many companies and consultancies registered with them.
If you look at Monster, it is user-friendly and employer-friendly, and easy to understand. The price is also affordable. However, if you need a good database of candidates, go for Naukri. Wherever you go, you can see people prefer Naukri more than others.
So, keep in mind which one is more productive and make a decision. Hope this information will be useful.
All the best.

Dear Bard,
In my opinion, Naukri is good for sourcing relevant profiles for any position based on seniority, but yes, they are very expensive. If you can bear the cost, then you should undoubtedly go for Naukri. Monster is better for sourcing very senior profiles or international profiles. Moreover, it is less expensive compared to Naukri. Now, you have to decide which one to opt for based on your requirements.

Thank you, Varsha and Indrani, for sharing your views on the above-discussed subject. I am a bit disappointed by the lack of response from others who did not care to share their thoughts on the topic. Anyways, thanks again. Words from a discouraged startup consultant :(

Dear Bard,
Greetings!
Why are you worrying unnecessarily? Surely, your query will be answered, but you need some patience, that's it. I think you have just started the consultancy. Don't feel upset. Have you used the research tab above to find the solution? If not, check that.
All the best.

Hello All!
My name is Amit Kumar, and I also run my own recruitment services company. It is very difficult to bear the massive expenses of Naukri resume database access services, but they are genuine. Recently, they launched new products for employers which are too costly compared to earlier prices. I have also explored Monster and found it to be a little bit cheaper than Naukri, but I still wouldn't like to spend more money in vain.
I am a bit confused about where to go next as Naukri charges are too high. I am aware of the current market scenario, but if someone could suggest a better option, I would truly appreciate it.
