Our company is planning to implement a sick leave policy for this year. In order to proceed with it, I'm presently researching the sick leave policies followed by different MNCs. We are also aware of the sick leave policy as per UAE Labour Law. However, it would be really grateful if you could share your ideas on the same.

You can incorporate the following terms in your sick leave policy
Sick Leave:
• The employee shall not be entitled to paid sick leave during the probation period.
• Sick leave payment as per Article 83, U.A.E. Labour Laws.
• If sick leave is more than two days, it should be supported by a medical certificate and a fitness certificate from a qualified doctor or registered medical practitioner.
