Dear All,

Please guide me on how to obtain an EPF/FPF Scheme Certificate from the EPFO office. I have worked in various organizations as listed below:

- Company A from Jan '87 to Dec '89 with PF A/c at RPFC, Delhi
- Company B from Jan '90 to Oct '00 with PF A/c at RPFC, Chennai
- Company C from Nov '00 to May '04 with PF A/c at RPFC, Chennai
- Company D from June '04 to Oct '07 with PF A/c at RPFC, Delhi
- Presently working with Company E since Nov '07 with PF A/c under PF Trust of the Company. I am 42 years old now.

All my PF accumulations have been transferred. Now, please guide me on how to obtain an FPF Scheme Certificate. Should I obtain it from each EPFO office? Also, what should I do with the Scheme Certificate? Should I keep it with myself and submit all the scheme certificates to the last EPFO for obtaining a pension after retirement?

Kindly provide guidance on the above.

Kindly suggest on the following, "Are US HR activities the same as Indian HR activities?"

- Joining and Exit formalities (do the contents of the forms remain the same)
- General policies like
• General Safety Guidelines
• General Employment Rules
• Equal Employment Opportunity Policy
• Code of Conduct and Ethics – Prohibited Activities, etc.
- Employee personal files maintenance and database
- Attendance and leaves
- Performance Management system
- Processes and procedures of the above...

I am currently working in a US-based company. I am asked to start the HR activities in the US office as well.

Kindly suggest on this.
